Ines Di Santo Couture Designer Gown Made in Canada Boutique size 2, Street size 0 100% silk shell You will need to purchase a modesty panel(as the original in unavailable for sale) or you can have one custom made at a very affordable price (even David’s bridal will make them). This dress has snaps sewn in the front to accommodate a custom one. I have seen tons of really lovely bra top/ bralettes that also serve the same purpose. I do have a new dress bag for it for safe keeping. I have provided pictures of the very inside of the dress where you actually wear the “shape” ie, the portion your body fits into, not the layers. As you can see it has sections that are added one by one for custom sizing. This is also the section where it would be adjusted to fit a different body! This is a very lavish and expensive dress given it is a Di Santo from her couture designer line, so please ask questions.

city_and_color our wedding was a decade ago so it won’t fit anymore.I’m not comfortable sharing wedding photos since I prefer to maintain space between public formats & personal life.The dress is 10yrs old & they rotate seasonally- I even had trouble finding pics to post.

city_and_color @danileeg These are insanely expensive so even if you don’t cont interest in this I think pre owned is the way to go, trust me! Di Santo Couture tag will almost always be a size larger than the actual size. I usually wear a 2/small 4 these days but won’t try to get into this because I don’t want to risk stretching.

city_and_color @danileeg one final thought….depending on where you are located, you could go to a boutique that carries this designer and try on (I used the only one in Denver). If you buy new, it will take a couple of months, maybe more for the dress to finally get to you so plan accordingly 😊

city_and_color @erinlytwyn I’m not in Denver but outside of CO Springs. Yes it’s fabulous indeed! It’s soooo hard to sell wedding dresses here because of the try on factor. I’m trying to think of how we could meet up…the Springs is half way assuming you are in Denver.

city_and_color @erinlytwyn honestly, I avoid Denver at all costs, the traffic makes me crazy! The Sanibel is lovely, seems to be a very popular design. I am simply too modest for it. Speaking of..Please note that this one will need a modesty panel, but with the money you save buying very lightly used, it’s a drop in the bucket 😊

erinlytwyn Yea truthfully my favorite favorite is the Desire dress but the bottom is too poofy for me so I have a few studios willing to pull off the tulle but it is $$$. I am not concerned about the modesty panel i think i have plenty of time to get that figured out. I am a little nervous the whole dress might be too small im a 4 and i see you're a 0/2. I would love to wear a classic couture from Ines instead of a more popular one that many women have worn! Would love to figure out how to try it on

city_and_color @erinlytwyn can you make it to a local boutique to try on one they have in house? These designers can be cruel in their size labels. If you are a TRUE solid 4, there’s a good chance you’ll fit most comfortably in a 6-8. It’s so pretentious, why do they do that! I won’t even try mine anymore, I’m a comfortable 2 but I sure I won’t get the hips up.
