This fabulous piece belonged to my grandmother and dates from approximately 1920-1930. It is a hand made brooch, measuring 2" in diameter. The artwork is layered over a base of Plaster of Paris. It is signed by the artist, "E Norton G" Just a fascinating piece, sure to turn heads, whether you wear it on your collar, on a vintage coat or (my favorite) on a great slouchy hat! A true keepsake work of art!

challis1832 To me, it looks like a brooch signifying the Aquarius astrological "water" sign... Of course, it also is similar to the famous Starbucks logo. (Since I'm an Aquarian, I prefer to think it's the former.) - Susan
