Desk clock designed by Arthur Imhof. Fabulous desk-table clock, created in Switzerland by the clocks makers house of Imhof, back in the 1950. This clock is very rare and has been crafted with retro modernist zodiacs patterns in solid gilded bronze. Mount in a round pedestal base with a round beveled transparent bluish glass. A great looking desk clock, in exceptional condition. Dial: Original round in transparent glass with mirrored center, analog with round concave batons, twelve zodiac figures and baroque shaped hands in gilt steel.  Movement: Manual winding, 8 days, 15 jewels, Lever escapement. Weight: 1.247.4 Grams, (2.75 Pounds). Measurements: 247.6 by 232.4 mm by 110.49 mm (9.75 x 9.15 x 4.35 Inches). Hallmarks: Stamped with the maker's mark and signed, "IMHOF SWISS 15 RUBIES 470298". IMHOF SA was founded at La Chaux-de-Fonds in 1924 by Arthur Imhof.
