I'm a single straight man, is it OK if I buy this pen? Advice? I'm asking the opinion/advice of everyone. This Montblanc pen is designed to honor the opera singer Maria Callas who I love. I am also a musician and she is a huge inspiration to me. I also love the elegance of this pen and think that it's beautiful.... But I have also heard people describe the pen as being feminine due to its color, shape and especially crystal jewel on the nib. I really want to buy this pen, but I am also searching for a girlfriend or wife, and I worry if a woman sees me with this pen she may think I am gay, or if I buy the pen and hide it I worry that if I ever obtain a girlfriend or wife and she finds this pen in the future that she may break up with me or leave me. I am trying to decide if I should buy this pen or not but can not make up my mind due to these concerns. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks

hugo113 Brad, no it doesn’t look feminine. It is what you feeling like when using not anyone else. You are thinking too hard on what other people think and not what you really feel. That color is a unisex color and I think you would be foolish if you didn’t get it because you were worried what someone else thought. seriously Brad if you were to marry this person or move in with this person, whatever whoever whatever hopefully by then they would know who you are and what you are like.

kdube23 If you like the pen then get it. Life is too short to worry about what others will think. They don’t matter and real friends won’t care. When I reached my 40’s I finally stopped worrying about what others think, now living my best life because of it. Buy the pen and enjoy it!

unique__fox @hugo113 Yeah you are probably right, I have a habit of over thinking and over analyzing things, I'm not very impulsive. I start a new full time job on the 27th of this month. Plus I still have the other job too but hours have not been many or consistent with that one but are expected to pick up to 30 to 40 hours a week with it soon, and the new job is a guaranteed 40 hours a week.

unique__fox @hugo113 I also like this particular pen because it reminds me of my first trip to Europe in Jan 2024 when I went to Milan Italy and I went to the La Scala there and saw my first opera and they were doing the Maria Callas performance. So the pen reminds me of my first trip out of the US and of my first opera and turns out that was the best opera singer of all time, I did not know anything about her before I went and I've become obsessed with her ever since that trip.

unique__fox @hugo113 She was in a long relationship with Aristotle Onassis. She died Sept 16 1977, two days before my 3rd birthday. She has some live videos of her on youtube the one Her best one on youtube is titled "Maria Callas in Concert Hamburg, 15 May 1959 & 16 March 1962 Full movie in HD" if you want to watch it. The singer I saw in Milan doing Medea was really good, but no one can touch Maria, I have listened to many of the opera singers before & after her and she is the best

unique__fox @hugo113 People say that Maria was not the 1st of the new generation of opera singers, but instead, she was last of the old style of opera singers.... which I think is better because opera like most music isn't as good as it used to be.
