What can really help first and most important is having an awesome covershot that you can provide in a consistant theme so that everyone eventually know it's from your closet, it could be anything; a logo, a border , a watermark, a plant in the background, . took me forever to get that😉

sexysupershero @melissa_anne_83 if you can't model something because it doesn't fit, a google search of the brand with a description to download a stock photo is perfect , even if it's not the same color you're selling, people want to see the cut, form fitting or loose? , how far down the leg is a skirt/ dress, how deep is the neck line, etc. Since the pic is the first thing they see, it's important to grab their attention so that they'll open up the listing and read more!

Even if you can't share to a party because it doesn't match the theme or brand, share other's lisitngs so that they share your listings to their followers! More eyes on your listings means more chances of it selling , just remember: sales is a numbers game so attend every party! Even if it's just for 10 minutes!

I base my goals (how I operate) on the day's operation from last year matching day and the day before. (In your case it may be last week) trying to beat previous goals will give a growth over time and allow you to set realistic goals. It can be very overwhelming but making a schedule to share from all parties (even just 10 min per party) and periodically to followers has been helpful. A

sexysupershero @melissa_anne_83 Always share your listings first! then everyone elses. Also, in my humble opinion, Your display picture should always be clothes that's on a person or mannequin. If you cant find the stock image. Also definitely include all other pics you already have! If its different than the stock photo just mention something like "first pic is just to show fit" or "I'm selling the green version of this", if you find the image of your item in a different color.

I share my closet as soon as I wake up, try to list every day or every other day to activate the new listings notification in my followers feed, ship every other day , prep shipments the night before so I'm not at the post office every day (I hate waiting on the post man to pick something up, they don't give me a specific time and I cant be home all day lol!

There are so many ways to track your progress, I think it depends on personal preference but also on the type of closet you have. If you want to purchase in store & though thrift shops, Ediza's website has a workbook you can use, it's an excell sheet she designed specifically for Poshmark.

sexysupershero @justsimplyfab If you're doing a boutique, by trial & error & testing out different wholesalers both through the Poshmark wholesale portal (no license needed) & on Fashiongo.net, (license required, varies by state) you can find styles you're comfortable reselling. I ended up using Quickbooks Self Employed to keep track of income & expenses & a good old fashioned paper calander I use specifically for my business only.

sexysupershero @justsimplyfab It takes time & patience more than anything because what works for your closet may not work for everyones closet & visa versa. Like for example, I looked back on the whole entire year to see what I sold best during which times of the year in order to be properly prepared & stocked up for the next year, didn't restock on items that didn't sell well. Stopped buying so much jewlery because it only really sold during the holidays.

Don't worry though, you'll definitley get there and be able to be successfull, & Poshmark is honestly the best platform to do it, well worth the 20% fees, lol.

But when I gave me options for the media to share the closet on, Poshmark did not come up (only FB, IG, Pinterest etc). sexysupershero @kkm67 not a bother at all love, I remember being confused in the beginning too ,lol. In poshmark we share individual listings, not the entire closet. Yes, you can share the link to an entire closet to social media channels via the top right but that's not really how to make sales. You share some lisitngs from closets you like and they (usually) share back. What you share of theirs goes to your followers and vise versa.

I reccommemd looking over any posh tips that show up above all the notifications, Googling any poshmark blogs/ poshmark tips for beginners.(There's so much more info out there now) I know it's a lot of reading but it is very helpful if you're looking to make poshmark your main income source. And once you make your first sale or two, you'll be addicted!

Purchases on my website however, I do have full control over....
