100% Icelandic wool Chunky knit. Lopi is the name of a specific type of unspun wool yarn (plötulopi) that comes from Icelandic sheep and has particularly warm and waterproof properties. The Icelandic sheep wool is considered one of the warmest and most insulating types of wool in the world and is known for its durability and strength. The fiber has a double layer of wool that provides extra insulation and warmth. All the sweaters are made of 100% Icelandic wool, and it takes over 20 hours to make one. The sweaters are handknitted by an Icelandic local in Iceland and are individually produced.
