@redvelvette Depends on the condition of the hood. I'm new to Poshmark, but have been selling and buying on ebay mostly up until now and have all positive feedback. :) I've been waiting to be accepted into the FB buy/sell/trade group too, but they haven't accepted my request to join yet.

@redvelvette Yeah, that's kind of the vibe I got from the way the group handles things. It's nice that they don't just let anyone in, but it also kind of detracts from what it means to be a part of the tribe. But I digress... That sounds good to me. I may have to wait a week or so for my paycheck to purchase, but I'm interested! What is your friend's insta account?

I haven't touched insta in forever, but my account is @Svmatra (I have @jessdotjpeg too, but it's my older account that I switched over from). Since she's looking for the black tie dye wolf, I could just buy her a new one from the SH site as a trade for the black snakeskin!

Im trying to replace hoods I used to have, which bites cause I'm told I'll probably have to pay big for certain ones. I started collecting hoods years ago, before Shark Tank, but I never knew about Tribes or anything. Boy was I surprised when someone told me how much disco bear can sell for. And my silver fox was a gift when it first released. Compared to what I originally paid for DB and others? Dude...shut the door!

@ibiwysi ooh, those hoods are all pretty hard to find/pricey! But yeah, this company is an anomaly, because who would have thought that they'd be so successful selling furry hoods to adults, let alone kids. I found out about Spirithoods at a festival, when my friend just happened to accidentally step on an Aurora Kitty that had been dropped in the crowd.

I have tried to figure out why so addicting, haven't yet sorted it hehe. Id like to see a re-visit on SharkTank, companies they didn't invest in as they do from time to time.

@jessdotjpeg I am really bad at figuring offers as well, Im always uncomfortable when someone asks 'what are you willing to pay?' but find it helps to see photos of the item and have all info first if asked this question. Ive noticed some ppl get really offended if you offer what they think is too little, some ppl just ignore an offer.

I like it when they counter offer. I often wish I could flat out ask why a person is asking the price they are, if they paid a high amt for a hood they need to make their money back. If they bought a hood on site for $120 and are selling for $350 there are other factors. I never mean an insult by my offer, as I have no idea what fair market value is for older hoods I find myself way too stressed and sometimes offer more than is comfortable, which is just silly.

@ibiwysi I'm the same way! Well I offered $130 to test the waters, and they countered with $200 so they're clearly dead set on getting way too much for it lol. I'll just wait to see if they have to relist a couple times and try again. Sounds ridiculous, but it's worked for me before!
