terrythemom That's so sweet-CREDIT.. hmmmm... this is actually what I did as my 3rd career before I got sick. Now I mostly just go to Doctors... I did design and construction of theatre costumes locally for about 18 years after my children outgrew the need for darling smocked Sunday dresses and jumpers, and there were no more original designs for prom dresses for my girls.

terrythemom I love to play a game of "Posh me Pretty" pretty often and construct really fab complete outfits from other people's barely used things. If I get stuck looking for a piece or I can't decide which looks best- I grid it up and share it to my followers... sometimes they will share it to theirs and it's like a big dress up game... lol I've ended up with waaay too much free stuff from some very generous ladies over this last year.🤗wish I could hug them all!

terrythemom The really cool thing about what I had to learn differently about theater sewing- other than how to make sturdy yet temporary alterations, was how to “Dupe” or duplicate an outfit pretty closely. I spent two entire summers dressing 23 girls in identical red , white and blue Tartan pleated skirts... 1/2 in red blazers 1/2 in Blue...
