I think to work with EC it has to have a ratio of 4 loops per inch. The coil you are looking for is likely the 18 month coil, which is the biggest one they have for the 7x9 from EC. I have one in rose gold but it got stretched out a bit between recoiling. It can be used to coil a planner but then the planner pages don't turn as easily as they would normally. The coils are proper diameter just longer than 9"s right now it would hold covers & clip ins, 4 storage let me know if you are interested
