This black sheath dress from Isabel Marant is a blank slate to highlight all your underused accessories from belts to necklaces and brooches. It's a sheath style that is not fitted in the waist but is fitted in the hips, with a round neck, 3/4 sleeves, and exposed cut edges on the cuffs and hemline. However, the dress is not as simple as it looks, but because it's black, the finer details in the fabric are lost to the camera. The front and back of the dress are two entirely different fabrics, although both are knit. The front is a diagonal ribbed knit, and the back is an extremely fine gauge stockinette knit. If you enlarge the photo of the side of the arm (#6, I think), you can see where the two fabrics meet. The front is a wool and polyamide blend with 5% elastane; the back is viscose, wool and polyamide. The dress is a French size 38, which is considered equivalent to a US size 6.
