IPod shuffle dead battery works

Apple iPod shuffle in good cosmetic shape 512 MB Works but the battery is dead! It may not be charging or battery is just dead. Stand usb end can be put in a dock stereo or any usb. It works great in my car with usb, plays and sounds great.
