I'm Susan, mom of 18yo. Twins👫. I’m a Medically/Disabled/Retired Critical Care Flight (MedEvac) Paramedic/MD State Police AviationTrooper. My phenomenal career of nearly 20 yrs. ended in a spilt second when I off-loaded a 400+LB. patient from my 🚁. A Hospital Tech was visually overwhelmed & Let go of the patient. My spine broke from trying to hold the weight. I’ve endured many surgeries & years of excruciating pain.

fashionsavy1ny @flghtmedc1907 One more thing...It’s always important to keep your closet “posh compliant”, so you are only allowed to sell fashion items, clothes, accessories and shoes. You can sell makeup, but it has to be new. Toys, books, etc. are not allowed on this site. You always want your closet to be posh compliant, so you don’t get in trouble. I think there is a list of items allowed to be sold, if you search on posh. I hope this helps! 💕🤗💖😘

As a volunteer in the ER I serve the staff but also provide pastoral care. You mentioned that your employer did not fully understand the daily pain that you endure. Have you put your scarves on ETSY? Personally, I think they would do better on there. I think people using Posh are looking for Bargains.

monascollection @flghtmedc1907 I’m sure that sellers say yes just to make something. However, It is bothersome that the prices in your particular closet don’t seem reasonable enough. Everyone is so used to using double coupons that it is just normal that they hope for a discount on top of another. Hold firm to what seems fair. If you eat up your earnings by what you spend in tissue, a card and gas, it is a NO. We’re not being mean (you and I.) We’re maintaining a household.

sluvscats Susan, I’m so sorry that happened to you. I’m a retired CCRN, & give you a lot of credit for the career you chose. Many years ago I flew twice transporting a critical patient & it was not something I’d choose to do again. I’m petrified of flying! Things were so different back then, in late 70s, OMG, kind of fly by seat of your pants, not organized Trauma transport like today. With all you’ve been thru, I hope you’ve found some relief.

assateaguearts @flightmedc1907: I can relate to your spinal injury — I fell off a horse, hit a whiskey barrel planter, a split-rail fence, and was dragged 40 ft by a stirrup,double fracture L-4/L-5 a ½ mm from the spine. My discs started rupturing, & now I have ruptured discs @ C-5, 6, 7, and L-4 to S-1. Doctors said it was a miracle that I am not paralyzed. God is faithful 😊. I used to live in Middleburg, and miss the drive through Aldi. You're in my thoughts and prayers.

kindplanetposh In my experience, simplifying my cover shots helped. It takes me a lot of time too believe it or not. I take them next to the window to get the most accurate lighting so it limits my ability to take pictures. Maybe go through your listings and try changing the cover shot just to see if you notice any difference??

kindplanetposh I tagged one of your listings that has a photo of the sweatshirt on just the body form. I love Navy crewneck sweatshirts, personally that photo would catch my eye. Again, we all have different thoughts on this and the last thing I’d want to do is offend anyone. I watched this YouTube video of another PFF who had research about photos and she had top 1-5 recommendations of how items sell best.

kindplanetposh Also are you sharing your own items when you do shares? This method works for me every time: open feed share 3 different listings from 3 different sellers, return to your closet and share one of your items 3 times in a row. Return to feed and repeat. Repeat until you’ve shared your entire closet. It can be really time consuming but dang when I do it, it usually pays off 😊

kindplanetposh Omg I keep trying to use different types of “daylight” bulbs and continue to waste my time. We’re not the only ones doing it. If I do post a pic that looks off I’ll eventually go in and change it cause it bugs me so bad! Lol listing can be so time consuming- I too have way more that I’d like to list then the season ends and I don’t like stuff sitting in my closet all year and just take it down now —- yikes I could go on. Finally got promoted & transferred to Aviation & became 1 of 3 Female Flight Paramedics in the Department.

mollys3 Oh my gosh! I just read the above message. I’m so sorry that happened to u! The same thing happen to my sister.. her patient was on PCP trying to get out of the back of an ambulance. I am a Pediatric Trauma RN. I worked as a flight life for awhile but went back to working on the ground. ☺️ Your recovery must have been a difficult one.. both physically and emotionally! I pray that you have healing every single day!

flghtmedc1907 @mollys3…..Even though I was an RN & Paramedic @ 21, In Maryland, to be a “Flight Paramedic,” you Must also be a MD State Trooper…….so, in 1986 (I A lot younger than my birth age), I endured a “Para-military” 6 Mo., Live-In, MD State Police Academy; so that I could do my dream! I never thought it would also lead to a “Medical Disability Retirement.”

flghtmedc1907 @mollys3….. I LOVED helping people (I still do!!). I have a “desk job” with the Federal Government; but I am getting ready to file for “SSI Disability.” My entire Lumbar Vertebrae are Black/Opaque on x-rays/Fluoroscopy (they should be a grayish white somewhat non-opaque) because of Arthritis. Sadly, there is no more surgeries that can help & I guess it’s time to be a Stay at Home Wife……My twins are away at College now😢. Please Be Safe!!
