maux_lux I completely agree with you that PM needs to update and enforce their policies to protect all orders, especially luxury/high end designer goods. Its so frustrating & some of their HQ associates need better training. I sent a formal written complaint to their offices but idk if they'll ever do anything to improve this platform. staceylagirl @maux_lux about 2 years ago I sent PM CS an email about a hole I saw in their process - I am a senior software engineer. I asked to be passed on to technical support. They never would pass me thru or pass my email on. PM was losing money and I tried to tell them I found a bug 🐜 in their process. Their CS is highly faulted. Im sure CTO would not be happy.

glittlex That’s crazy. Especially considering that they will insure a purchase less than $500 for the full amount. I purchased a bundle from a seller a while back that got lost in the mail. It was almost $200 and Poshmark refunded me the whole amount and gave the seller the whole amount of credit as well. I never listed my more expensive stuff on here because of the fees, but now with the low insurance too I can’t image ever listing any of my designer bags.

Something similar happened to me then I discovered for future shipments I needed to purchase additional insurance to be 100% covered ..USPS , PM's preferred shipper, will only cover $100. which of course sucks, but that's the deal. Even UPS changed their ins.policies ..Art and I ship handmade lamps all over the globe and if they break during transit, breaks your heart and wallet! Stay well and best of luck!

Way early on ( ive been here since dec 2012) i told the tech team about a bug ( im a sr sw engineer ) in their algorithm- nothing and customer service even worse. fashion_scrilla @staceylagirl There are so many scammers I find here trying to scam, one scammer stole a package from me already (thankfully it was only pre-loved fila sneakers and matching fila accessories, and sneaker protection spray) it was only a $155 loss from my inventory. But poshmark was of no help at all and did not recover my package from the posher. So I had to take that loss as my first harsh lesson on here. Since then I have been so worried.

My entire family in Utah has been fighting Covid for the last month. It literally spread to every family member. danielad84 @fancybusiness This is not correct. You guys are in error. What you see when you track your package is insured for $100 but Poshmark has their on private insurance with USPS on every package. So if in case a package is lost , the seller and buyer get their full refund . I have 2 packages lost so far and my earnings were released per sell. The buyer was also refunded. Their Usps insurance is covering that.

staceylagirl @romeolovesme if u sell an item over $500. It’s ships from ur house to Richmond CA to Poshmark to be sure ur item is authentic then posh ships it to ur buyer. My point is that’s a lot of usps shipping, normally it’s to ur buyer only and Poshmark normally insures w normal priority shipping ( $50 insurance ) when ur item is over $500 it ships 4x. If it gets lost u get $100 back from them not the cost of ur >$500 item.

jill12872 @staceylagirl You can add insurance to your package if you take it into the post office. If they tell you no ask to speak to the post master. If you email Poshmark do it from the item in question I think that helps alot then look out for the automated reply you should get same day to be sure they received it.
