mynahshine I would add they always use 10 stitches or more to an inch. I keep a mini tape measure in my bag. I have found 2 authentic Chanel vintage bags under $12 counting stitches. Sent them to Chanel & they’re REAL!

mynahshine @ladykyb I originally used outside authenticators. Then I took the course personally. Now I’m pretty good at knowing on my own. Chanel won’t authenticate older bags anymore.

mynahshine @ladykyb if it’s newer then it would be chipped. They stopped using codes last year. Pre-80’s don’t always have codes either. I suggest going online. There’s a lot of good information about what to look for.
