cgncognito 😭 YES!! I love this post!! I have Fibro, CFS, & recently Dx w MS.. but before the MS Dx I suffered the constant criticism... it was in my head, AS IF until an understood Dx was typed on paper it wasn't real. I was lazy. If I went back to work I would have some dignity. And omg if I woulda heard, Everyone is tired Cyndi, one more time I woulda screamed!! But it is real! So yes, In fact, fighting an invisible illness, many times w little support, makes Us Warriors!! 😘

avengedbeauty @cgncognito That is so true. That's why I put I'm an undefeated warrior for my fairy game granted I didn't come up with it but it just spoke to me. When I worked just 6 months ago i finally got the diagnosis and it was horrible scrutiny and even now I live with my boyfriends family and I swear they just don't get it. Just someone who understands does volumes for me.

avengedbeauty
avengedbeauty @cgncognito I have arthritis scoliosis a bulged disc sciatic problems fibro and carpal tunnel wherein lies my depression and anxiety plus PTSD. So I get it. And I tried so hard to work with all those things wrong with me. It was not an easy feet and I did it as long as I could

cgncognito
cgncognito @avengedbeauty oh I understand!! I really do! I have PTSD as well... my X-Husband was violently abusive and his family never believed me, they said I was a hypochondriac. 🙄 But yes, validation does wonders for a person!! One of the nicest things I had said to me one day was when I could barely walk from fatigue and I said, I'm so tired and a gf said, I know ... I burst into tears, Bc instead of criticizing me or minimizing, those simple words, "I know" gave understanding!!
Jul 24Reply
avengedbeauty
avengedbeauty @cgncognito Oh yes!!!! I probably would have too!!!! My ex was violent too. Instead of his family helping me when they witnessed it they would help him. It was a very bad situation. I'm out of it for 4 years now and thanking god that I'm at least still alive. I wouldn't be surprised if he were the cause of all of my disabilities

cgncognito But yes, I am sorry you are dealing w so much as well. It truly is difficult to continue to cope Day in n Day Out. But we can do it!! We will be Fairy Warriors!! 😉 and we will relish small blessings, like the day I heard about my x-mother n law.. the woman that told me I was a hypochondriac n i needed to stop wasting time w Drs, she was Dx w Fibro n was suffering so.. yea, I feel sorta bad but what they at bout Karma is true!!
Jul 24Reply
cgncognito
cgncognito @avengedbeauty omg I say the same thing... even my Dr thinks my X has a lot to do w my illnesses.. I lived under extreme stress for 18yrs and Dr said that ur body stays in the fight or flight so long it damages ur immune system. And strangely about 6months after i escaped, n that is literal, I lived in a hotel for a month hiding to get away ..but 6mos later, my body crashed .n the Dr felt it my immune system was damaged from it all ..n yes, I also get the X family being no help. Pathetic

globalboutique @avengedbeauty I am in excruciating pain today...so much that my "pain is in pain." Sigh. Fibromyalgia is merely the tip of the iceberg of health issues that I battle day in and day out. Today is a "bad" day. But I will never cease the hope for better days.
Aug 03Reply
avengedbeauty
avengedbeauty @globalboutique I completely understand. I've been in a flare for a couple weeks now due to anxiety and stress. I got new stuff for my closet yesterday and just got done doing pictures. it was HORRIBLE I did them as fast as I could. I hope you are feeling better soon. Do you have anything aside from fibro?

avengedbeauty @shannonki I understand how you feel. I have much more than just fibro as well. It's always good to have just another one who gets IT. I hope you're having an easy pain day <3
Aug 10Reply
yakkityyakk
yakkityyakk @avengedbeauty It seams as though when your diagnosed with 1 auto immune disease you magically acquire several more 😂 Lucky us! Not having a good pain day, but that's due to my gall bladder. I'll survive though. I'm glad I happened across your closet & I hope you are pain free today 😊
Aug 10Reply
avengedbeauty
avengedbeauty @shannonki I hate that! I have about 10 different disabilities. I worked up until about 8 or so months ago. Now I just can no longer handle it. Thanks to....a monthly thing I am not pain free. I'm so happy that you see tings on the positive side I try to do that. I've been doing really well at it the last couple days. But usually I'm quite negative about myself but not others. I hope you get to feeling better!! <3 <3

avengedbeauty @mjos1120 I really appreciate that. Thank you so much. I do my best to see the positive in my disabilities. Its hard at times but then I think about it and remember I'm going through this so I can help someone else go through it later on.

luvjojos_closet @avengedbeauty My husband and I were just talking last night about the frustration he has at times and how he needs to check himself about it. These things effect not just us but the ones we love. I am on day 3 of a migraine on top of all of the other aches and pains. It is truly amazing what we learn to live with. Thank you so much for listening and helping others.

avengedbeauty @mjos1120 big time. When I'm in A flare and screaming from having a blanket on my boyfriend never knows what to do. It kills him that there's nothing he CAN do. But he still tries.

queenfish @avengedbeauty Much LOVE to u fellow warrior! Im enjoying finding new friends who can relate to my health struggles and truly understand what I'm feeling on a non-stop, daily basis. These posts really help connect those who don't mind sharing and are looking to support others in their struggles, simply because they know how u feel. Ive suffered from severe chronic daily migraines, fibromyalgia, CFS, Chronic Neck Pain, Sciatica, etc. for over 20 years and that doesn't include other med issues.

bfmittens I'm late to the party as usual! Just want to give my ❤ to all you ladies suffering from these cruel "invisible" diseases. I too have fibro, and Systemic Lupus, &all the complications that come with the territory (arthritis, neuropathy, lung issues from so much pneumonia/pleurisy). Every day (every hour) is a struggle...let me pass along all the good vibes I can muster and just be one more person who understands 💜💜💜

2morowsntpromsd
2morowsntpromsd Me too. I am also a warrior of Type 1 RSD/CPRS, which not only is invisible but so many Drs. are uneducated that they themselves don't deal with the nerve disorder and sensitivity. I just had a SPD(spinal cord cervical stimulator) put it that it's suppose to help with the chronic pain from both Fibromyalgia &RSD. Wish me luck 😉

I've completely changed my diet, using natural holistic approach instead of big pharma, & I'm getting better slowly but surely EVERYDAY! They will try to keep you a slave to those meds, that's just my opinion & what it did to me, I am strong SPIRITUALLY today, that's made me kick fibromyalgia in the butt! I'm praying for you girl, sending positive chi, love , and light your way!

My sis has it also along w two others autoimmune diseases- it’s so true, like they stack up! Since sis is dealing with cancer, I don’t take much time to speak on this, but we do believe they are all linked. We send such uplifting vibes everyone’s way. It’s hard to move past the pain! nailahcloset @cgncognito it’s so interesting to read your story about your different Dx. I’ve FM, CFS, and POTS, and in 4 years have gone from being an avid runner to being housebound and bedridden. I fell real hard. But bc they’re invisible, most ppl didn’t believe I was that sick, until insurance company recently approved my 25k wheelchair. My husband has always gotten everyone’s empathy. Let me tell you: he’s my caretaker. He takes LDN ( low dose naltrexone). 💕❤️

nailahcloset Hi there my fellow warriors! I have a question: ever since being dx with FM, and a bunch of other conditions, I’ve had to stop working after 4 years of pushing myself, and further damaging my health. Now, I’m on Posh, but still struggle a lot to take the pics, style the mannequin, etc due to severe pain & fatigue. Does anyone share my experience? It’s beyond frustrating... 😔

cgncognito @nailahcloset Am sorry to hear bout your health issues!! And I certainly feel your pain. Hopefully ppls attitudes continue to change for you. And yes, I'm in same boat as to doing Posh. I have a tons of clothes waiting to be listed and I'm just to tired to do it.

avengedbeauty I'm so sorry you're in so much pain. I totally get it. As for inventory when I go get it and take the pictures I have to make sure I'm having a good pain day. On Friday me and my boyfriend went to go get inventory because he's been nagging me to and after getting a couple pairs of pants I had to get the f out of the store.

nailahcloset @avengedbeauty I’m the same way when I go to the store. Except I take a Vicodin for the pain, and am able to do more. However, bc the Vicodin is really just masking the pain, I always crash and end up in severe pain by the end of the day, after meds wear off...

nailahcloset @avengedbeauty but it feels like a trap - damned if u do, and if u don’t. Bc I always ask myself: if I don’t go to the store, then what’s left?! Spending all of my days in effing bed?! It’s really hard for me too. And my husband has MS...
Oct 07Reply
nailahcloset
nailahcloset @cgncognito My husband has has MS for 30 yrs now, but his case is mild. He’s been on disability since 2009, and used to be exhausted all the time. Then he started on LDN ( low dose naltrexone), 4.5mg, and is doing MUCH better now! Please look it up. It’s a off-label generic drug, so most drs won’t prescribe it bc they don’t make $$$
Oct 07Reply
nailahcloset
nailahcloset @avengedbeauty have u ever heard of LDN ( low dose naltrexone)? Pls look it up. It reduces inflammation dramatically. Unfortunately, I couldn’t tolerate it, but most ppl do. My husband is doing MUCH better ever since he started taking it. Most drs won’t prescribe it cause there’s no $ in it for them. Dr. Klimas is my dr., and she’s world renowned.
