Hweitat Bedouin carpet — 100% wool

This all-wool weaving was produced in southern Jordan in a Bedouin community. The traditional design is based on ancient carpet patterns indigenous to the tribes that have for centuries migrated through the region. The community centers were established to employ women using an upright loom. The yarn used in the carpet was spun and died by hand. Use as a table runner, as a wall hanging, or cut into sections for placemats. This one, with 2 sections in it, was used as a wallhanging. Size: 41” long x 15.5” wide Non-smoking home
