Hushh by yogasleep sound machine

Added this to my registry after seeing good reviews, but I’m not sure it’s all it’s cracked up to be. Received one at my shower, but had to buy another only a couple weeks after baby was born because the buttons got stuck in, and the machine would not turn off. Did not bother to go through a return, just purchased another, because what FTM has the time in the first few weeks?! Machine has 3 sound settings and many different volume levels from quiet to LOUD! I always set the machine on the second lowest level for baby, but sometimes we wake up in the middle of the night to the machine blaring, all the way up on the loudest setting- not sure how this happens?? It also does not seem to remember a volume setting once turned off and then on again—can be startling or disruptive if you turn it on while baby is sleepy, thinking that it will be quiet where you left it, but then it’s on the loudest setting—UGH! This machine is portable which is nice—brought this to the hospital when baby was born and hung it from the bassinet—nurses were impressed. Charging is easy, and it does seem to last a good amount of time once there is a full charge. We use this on the white noise setting, and purchased a different brand machine for a heartbeat/pulse sound, and we play both at nap/bedtime for baby. Would I recommend?
