Hunter Quilted Lace Up Boots --FACTORY SAMPLE--

The factory sticker identifies these as 'Mens Quilted Lace Up'. Appears that these were made in November of 2014 to be sold in the 2015 season. The tag says they are a Men's UK 9, but the usual sticker that is on the bottom of them says UK9 EU43 US11. If you follow Hunter, you know they sometimes are vague with the US sizing - sometimes they state a men's size, sometimes they state a women's size. Finally they started putting a W or M in front of the US size to make it clear. But that's not the case with these and given that they are EU 43, we feel that the US 11 means women's 11. I know, they are called a men's boot, but have a women's size on them. So in men's sizing they are a 10. We had one of the guys who is a wide 10 try these on and he said they fit, but were tight on the side so we're pretty sure these are a men's 10 or women's 11. But enough about the size, these are neat and something we've never seen before. Rubber bottoms like a traditional Hunter boot with a quilted lace up top. They stand about 12" tall from bottom of the heel to the top. It's the best of both worlds - the rugged rubber bottom is waterproof with great traction while the quilted top gives the flexibility and comfort that traditional all rubber Hunter wellies don't have. Probably not a collector's item since there's no box and one of the paper sample labels is torn, but a great and unique pair of boots. The person who tried them on said they were warm and comfortable.
