Hummel #63 “Singing Lesson” TMK 3

his figurine is 2.75" tall and has no cracks or blemishes. The TMK3 places the manufacture of this piece Circa 1950-69. First created by master sculptor Arthur Moeller in 1937 from one of Sister Maria’s drawings. It has been called both “Duet” and “Critic”. This young boy has his flute (lute?) in hand while he seems to be lecturing a bird on music. Or is the bird showing him? Whichever, this is a cute piece and has not lost its appearance for over 60 years. I do not have a box for this figurine.
