They are not the stiff denim, instead a soft cotton fabric with a sweet light pinstripe. they are meant to be worn more of a loose fit, with the side pockets. I am listing these, since I never got a chance to wear these, because they need to be made shorter. I was planning to wear these on hot summer days when I need a loose wide leg cotton pant.
