How do you ORGANIZE a closet? How do move things in a closet? How do you add categories and group items in your closet? For now, you have to post each item in the order you want them to appear only backwards. I have all my SOLD items at the end of my closet with a sign, "all items below are SOLD". The key to Organizing your closet is to "move pages" by simply sharing any page in the order you want them to appear and that item's page is moved to the FRONT OF YOUR CLOSET.

spaceysusyq @lauramhudson hi again! Does this make sense? To organize your own closet is counterintuitive...... meaning you have to do it backwards from how you want it to end up...... the things you want at the end of your closet you post or share first. ....... I select section by section and end with the items I want to be seen first by visitors.

spaceysusyq @lauramhudson no..... I actually am on vacation away from my closet and got a note from Posh asking where I have been!!!! If you go down through my closet you will see a couple of sales that I have not moved onto down to the very bottom..... I will but I can't sell anything right now since I am away and can not ship. I still try to stay in touch but just can't ship so can't sell......

spaceysusyq @shay3624 hello! I am not certain BUT I have an iPhone and can not get drag and drop to work either....... so I use this 'original method' described here. I am not positive but maybe the drag and drop only works on androids?

shay3624 @spaceysusyq looks like it only works when CREATING a listing when you are moving photos in listing. I totally got too happy when I thought it was for all of our closet...lol sorry to bother u:)

spaceysusyq @patti2003 First you have to create the "pages you want to post" in an outside app. I have asked permission from another Posher to use a screen shot of their page. Have you ever created a PowerPoint or Pages program? Create individual slide pages from any app that become picture images that you use in your new Posh Listing. After you create the images go to Posh and post those just like you were posting a item to sell. In this case, you list as Not For Sale: additional questions? Sue

kynicole89 supposedly with the new app update, we can now "drag and drop" to organize so we don't have to go through all this. However, I cannot get it to work!!! UGH. I was so excited to have a solution :( I don't know if it is my iPhone or what.

spaceysusyq @patti2003 @patti2003 did you get enough info on adding slides? Once you create the slide...... put it into .jpg format (just like pictures) THEN add them into Posh just like picture entries.... does that help?

spaceysusyq @lhaz29 yes it would make it easier and maybe as the community continues to mature and grow they will be able to add that feature! We have lots of features now that we did not have at the beginning! I am not positive where drag & drop is incorporated but I have had Poshers mention they were able to do that in a few situations, like maybe?, when they are creating a post for an item? Keep look out for it to happen sometime though!

lhaz29 @spaceysusyq I got a email before I started listing that said they were a drug drag and drop so you can move your items around soon. I thought it was in effect already but we knkw that's not the case so I'm hoping it comes soon. Its time consuming organizing.

susancthatsme great tip! re: creating a slide - i just did this the other day by creating a regular text doc on my phone using google docs, i was able to add color to fonts and bold etc too... then i took a screen shot w/ my iphone and then posted it "for sale"! hope i'm not repeating anyone else but i was so excited to finally figure that one out lol! :)

carmies_closet @spaceysusyq Hi, more confused than ever now! I've just been adding my items one by one and a friend who's been using posh for a long time showed me how to move them from lowest price on the bottom and highest price on top. Unfortunately when I add more items they all go to the top and I'm not sure how to get them back down to where they need to be without putting jewelry, purses and everything mixed together as opposed to under a specific sign.

spaceysusyq @carmies_closet I understand!!! Like I say here, it was hard for me to figure this out BUT THE KEY to creating your closet in the order you want you have to understand 2 main things. (1) when you ADD a new item, or EDIT an item, it ALWAYS becomes the first item listed in your closet,

spaceysusyq @carmies_closet soooooooo ordering you closet the way you want: you must have everything inside your closet that you want Then go through a process to list them in the order or sections that you want. You must first work on the ones you want to be at the end of your listings BACKWARD TOWARD posting the items you want to show up at the very beginning. Does that help?????

I'm not sure why I had a mental block but it was like all of a sudden the doors opened up and I realized oh my gosh this is going to take forever, especially as you add more and more items. No wonder some of the folks that I've talked to have said that it takes them hours to do this every morning

When I open my Poshmark app, there is a burgundy ribbon across the bottom of the screen. It has five headings, each of which leads you more info! Left to right you should see: Feed - Shop - Sell - News - carmies_closet

happysoul Hi and thanks for the info. However I recently found out that this does not always work. For weeks I have been organizing my closet, sharing in reverse order, using headers, etc. it works for what I see in my closet but checking with other Poshers, the closet does not appear the same way to them. One told me that all of my headers were at the top. All that work for nothing!! 😑

brandyzzle What do you mean by “sharing pages?” Is there a way to share/organize an entire page (category) of listings, or by “page” do you just mean the individual listing? I️ have been doing this (sharing in reverse order) to organize my closet, but the problem is how to keep it that way. Every time I update a listing (fix a typo, drop the price, etc.) it re-shares and moves that updated item to the top. (cont’d)

One question that I'm not sure if someone has answered or not yet - when you reorg your closet and have to share all those listings so many times - are your followers getting their feeds totally flooded with your stuff?
