This vintage "The Jewel of the Siam" ring is one of my favorites from the House of Faberge. Thirty-two of the best rubies and six fine full cut diamonds set in 18K, this sparkles like mad when it catches the light. Fit for a princess, the photos just don't do this one justice. This limited edition piece is hard to find . . . no one wants to give this one up! Guaranteed authentic, this is in mint condition, fully and appropriately hallmarked. Simply fabulous.

onceuponathyme @ehopie Hi, Elena. It's amazing. SO much better in real life than the photos show. It's about an inch tall - you can see it covers pretty much my entire section of finter. It lies flat to the hand, though, so it doesn't catch on things. I'll get more photos and measure it more precisely when I'm home.

ehopie @onceuponathyme Thank you Darva! I am looking at various pieces and showing my husband pieces for my birthday. I seem to see the beauty in this piece more then he does. Is there any chance you have the Faberge blue enamel cross with pearls? He seems to have his heart set on that piece.

onceuponathyme @ehopie :-) Honestly, If I had to go by the photos I would never have purchased this ring . . . The magic of it is that first, the rubies are of very high quality. They have amazing clarity and sparkle ... you see the clarity here, but not the sparkle. Second, the way they are set is rounded a bit, so that the surface is not flat ... which means the light hits each ruby at a different time as you move your hand, making the rubies just dance in the light. FInally, it's huge, but also very comfortable, which is not the case for all rings of this size. I have several of the Faberge collection - but only rings. This is probably the most magnificent. I have the rose ring from the same collection listed, as well . . . Other things I have that are not listed are the crown ring (I had both his and hers, but I'm not sure if I still have the "hers" version). I also have one of the cigar bands with multiple stones in an ornate filigree ... It's heavy, but not as heavy as this. I'll have to look through my stock to see what else I have, but I don't remember a cross ... so sorry! Oh, I also have a molten gold rose with a diamond center and emerald leaves. It's incredible.

It's stock from my store (which is now closed) but the prices are all 15 years old now - and are quite reasonable, given the gold run up. This ring is truly fabulous - the rubies are such great quality - the pictures don't do it justice.
