k4t3ck Hi @jackcordero - yes it clamps tightly and works like new. I’d bought it before a wedding thinking my old curling iron was the problem, but discovered my hair type and lack of any styling skill that were the real problems 😅 I just turned it on again to confirm it’s all good and added more close-up pics. Hope that helps!
