Horses of the World Book - First published 1973, based on Italian book Il Cavallo - 1978 Reprinting - Orbis Publishing London Condition: There is a bit of yellowing on the pages due to long ago humidity, but they're secure and the text and pictures are still bright and clear to read. The dust jacket has had some wear and was lovingly given a repair job at some point with some rather ancient looking tape. I think the best way to display old books like this, if not on your coffee table or organized by color on your bookshelf, is left open and propped up on a wall shelf to one of the beautiful, rich photographs. Display it like a piece of artwork or painting without injuring the book by cutting out pages and have the freedom to change the picture another day.
