Holman Functional Pottery Ashtray Dish Ruffled Edge OOAK‎ Signed Plano Texas

This is a dish or small plate with great mid-century colors. The color pattern is one they no longer make. It features a Crimped or Ruffled Edge. From review on the Holman website, it's possible this could have been the base to a Garlic Baker, although they don't make this ruffled edge style anymore either. You could use it as was originally intended or as a trinket / jewelry tray or candy dish. Each piece of Holeman functional pottery was handmade by Tony Holman, or his wife Terri. Each piece is unique, one of a kind, and made from fine white stoneware. They contain no lead and can be used every day in the microware, dishwasher, and oven. No structural damage on this piece. It does have some glaze crazing due to age and use. Measures approx. 6" in diameter and 1 1/4" tall on the outside. Please zoom in on all photos for full details.
