This is a really nice transparent green ribbed Spice Shaker made by Hocking Glass. This Shaker measures 4 1/2 inches high X 2 1/2 inches square and holds 8 ounces.. The glass shaker is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or cloudiness. The open hole shaker metal lid is in good, usable condition with slight dents. This shaker has no label on it .

justineshriver Hi. I believe this is Vaseline Depression glass. Have you tried a black light on it? It will glow bright green, if it is.

f_strait This jar was made during and shortly after the depression era by Hocking Glass. Vaseline was a component of the formula in the mixture of some of the depression glass to obtain the desired color the company wanted in the glass. We have been in the depression glass business since 1974. Most (but not all) depression glass glows under a black light. We guarantee our items to be as authentic, as listed.
