In 1878, August Josef Corzelius took over running the Steinzeugwarenfabrik / Stoneware Company/Factory in Western Germany from his father in law Johann Josef Gerhards After August Corzelius death in 1901 his son Carl Johann Corzelius took over the company/factory After Carls Corzelius death his son, Werner Carl Corzelius took over running the company/factory in 1945 After Werner Carl Corzelius death his son Paul Werner Corzelius inherited the company/factory In 1954 the company’s name was officially changed to “ Werner Corzelius” 2005 was the last year that Werner Corzelius produced stoneware Another words what items are out there is all there will ever be This could be a jug or it could be one of the old type stein because of the face on the front of it. You can see the number 1558 in the front a-top of face This piece has hues of blue & brown coloring.
