I am the 3rd owner of this topper. Whoever had it before me did a bad dye job and damaged silk top which can be seen in photos. I still wore it though (as seen in pic). Its still in good shape and is still soft hair. I would recommend sending it to someone who can replace the silk top, replace clips which are not the best, and correct the color of roots. Then will be in better shape! I personally recommend Molly from The Wig Station. I have used her services before for a different hair piece and was pleased. Its a 6x7 base and approx 16” inches long at longest point. Please see photos for details, ask questions, and if interested I can send more measurements too.

bohobottega @jennalynn99 Hi! Do you know the length from middle part to ends and the dimension of the topper? Also, is there hair dye on the entire silk base? Thanks!

jennalynn99 @bohobottega hey thanks for your interest! The topper is approx 16” long from middle part to ends in back. The size is 6x7 so smaller topper. The damage of the dye to the silk top is shown in the last 2 pictures from inside. Its the dark brown smudging you can see. In my opinion you cannot see this on the part line of the topper while wearing, but rather the dye job is inconsistent along the part. Hope that makes sense!!

bohobottega @jennalynn99 ok thanks! So the actual outer silk isn’t stained at all? Only the inner? Only the actual roots need to be redone? Sorry for all the questions :)

jennalynn99 @bohobottega good to ask questions!! I posted a video of the partline that I put on it and i also raised up some of the hair with my fingers to see the “scalp” or top layer of the silk. It looks ok to me. There is some slight discoloration in one area but I really have to search the scalp
