misscheeseball @maggiejeanmae It's fine, at least that item was already sold. :) I checked out your closet and you have a lot of good photos. What I recommend is an app called instacollage. Many formats and frames and just all around awesome. I may be a hypocrite on this one, but some of your photos need better if not natural lighting. More sun, less bulbs. And because I follow so many people, there is about a 30% return follow rate. And many that follow me back check out my closet, which helps my exposure. Keep updating your items. You don't have to change anything, just go threw the edit process as if you were changing something, if you don't already do that. I hope this helps and I would be happy to answer any more questions :)

Some people just like your listing to help you out and be nice, but then get annoyed when there news box is filled with "interested in buying Hun"? So annoying. And don't use Hun, or dear. It's degrading. :) ok I think that's it for now.

I would go to a Party, but they one for Texas is in Houston and thats a bit of a drive for me :( Poop! I really want to go to one though. You should really go to it, if you can. They don't have them often and you will meet a lot of great ladies and get lots of ideas and inspiration. I am super jelly. Poshmark is my addiction. I am on it at least 10 times a day. misscheeseball @sigh_rah Well we're glad to have you on board 👍😊 I will give you the play by play. I saw your listings and you had many very good photos. Good effects on the jewelry, good angle on the shoes, but (and I am a bit if a hypocrite for this) lighting is very important!! Bright photos make people feel uplifted and happy. And if possible you should yourself, or even someone else, model your clothes. It will usually always look better. Also, and I made this mistake as well, you don't need the special effects and crazy frames for you listing. It's really a lot to look at. As far as getting host picks, that's an easy one. You search for people who have made a listing stating that they have been picked to host a posh party, I can tag you in all the ones I find :) And you leave a comment congratulating them for the honor. Try to make it personal and stand out. You'll see many examples. You do that enough, and someone will notice you and host pick one or many of your items. I had four in one night, that was my best night. :) that's all I got for now. But I will let you know when I think of something else. Just remember: -share, share, share!! -congratulate co-hosts, and people who got host picks -make clean bright photos Happy poshing :D Let me know if you have any more questions!!

I have a wall that gets pretty good lighting with two windows but I do enhance the lighting with the free photoshop app, at least I think it was free. 🤔 I normally increase the exposure, increase the vibrancy (but make sure the color matches the item), and if the picture looks to yellow I'll bring down the temperature.

misscheeseball @jsg7300 Oh thank you! 😄 I try my best to always use natural light but I got a lighting set for Christmas so I use that in addition to the natural light. And having a white background allows me to still have bright photos even when it’s night time. I also have the Photoshop Express app that I use to brighten every photo. I know it’s a lot of of editing but I thinks it’s worth it 🤗

misscheeseball @jsg7300 Trust me I understand! I was dead until a few days ago. I stoped listing and focused on sharing, then sales started coming back in. But that’s also me sharing for hours a day. I really feel a white background could help you. You can even use a piece of white poster board from walmart of someplace and do partial cover shots! A very famous Posher does that. @leahannemae Check our her closet, she also has a YouTube serious of Poshmark Tips!

misscheeseball @jsg7300 Oh Thank you! 🤗 It’s no problem. Let me rephrase that. I have goal for myself to make at least one sale a day, and I wasn’t even getting that. Maybe one every other day. But with almost 500 active items, sales shouldn’t have been that slow. So I kicked it into overdrive. And I would say part-time because my little one takes up the majority of my time. So I usually have a combine 4 hours a day dedicated to posh. Let me write part 2... ☝🏻

misscheeseball @jsg7300 My items near the 🔝 of my closet are actually purchased from stores and I do pay a decent amount for them, so I ask for more. I really want to switch to just buying NWT but I’m not sure yet. All Lower items are thrifted or garage sale finds. I am very strict on my spending because I don’t have a lot of extra to re-invest. All my profit usually go to my part of the bills. Any extra $ I have goes to baby or re-investing for more inventory. If you have any more Q’s, feel free to ask! 🤗

I really don’t understand how people are able to find current and trendy items NWT and some how pay little enough for them to turn a profit. Usually when I find things NWT they are either out of date, or too expensive to turn any kind of profit. I wish I could understand how so many people are making this their full time income.

misscheeseball @jsg7300 I will admit my best finds are at garage sales. If your able to hit like 10 sales on a Saturday morning, do it. You’ll find good stuff that is more likely to be in style, and you might even find a few new with tags. I found a beautiful ASOS pink lace dress for $1, sold it for 30. Anthro tops new with tags, $2. Plus you can haggle or give them a bundle offer. It’s personally my favorite place to find things but I don’t always have time. One sec...☝🏻

misscheeseball @jsg7300 Some of my local thrift and consignment shops have crazy sales going on, and you have to go to all of them. 50cent Sales, 50% Off, 90% off. I only go thrifting when there is a sale. Ask family and friends to always give you there old stuff rather than donating. It’s takes time to build up your closet, but once you have multiple streams of incoming clothes, it becomes easier. If your able to increase your item count by 25 a week, your doing great. ☝🏻
