The scratching is more significant on the one side at front & back. Look carefully. I haven’t tried to clean/polish. I tried to take photos to highlight flaws. photos 1-11. Wear/cracking on the corners & edges. Photos 3-4 & 8-11. I haven’t tried to clean the inside/outside! - The interior has scratches/marks & areas of rubbing & discoloration. Most significant is staining at upper left corner. photos 12-15. Some wear/scratching/tarnishing on the key hooks & hardware underneath. Photos 11-15. I haven’t tried to clean the inside.
