Hermann Mohair Circus Bear on Bar Musical Toy Wind Up Tucher Walther Germany Vtg

Vintage Tucher & Walther wind up music box toy. Consists of a metal base and bar, on which is mounted a small mohair bear made by Hermann. The miniature, 100% mohair bear is about 3 tall, and is style number D-96112. The front of the stand is labeled Salto Mortale. Total height is approximately 6. When wound, the toy plays music, and a wheel on the side turns. It is supposed to be connected to a wheel at the top, which controls the bear spinning over the bar, but has lost the band that connects the two wheels. As a result, the bear no longer does flips. Other than the issue with the flipping mechanism, this vintage display is in very nice shape! Music works well, and the finish of the metal is still nice and bright with only minor wear from handling. Location: D
