What metaphysical properties does Hematite have? * Hematite stimulates concentration and focus, enhances memory and original thought. * Hematite grounds and protects; it strengthens our connection with the earth, giving a safe and secure feeling. * Hematite utilizes the magnetic qualities to balance the body and to provide a stable equilibrium [don't wear magnetic Hematite if you work with high end computer equipment that may get scrambled by magnets!!!]. * Hematite was once used as mourning jewelry [back in the days when you wore black for a year or more to show your loss], as it is calming and can help you mellow out and relax your mind's pacing and worrying. I like to use Hematite in Protection Bracelets, as it is readily available and fairly inexpensive in comparison to black Agate or Onyx, never mind Black Tourmaline or Shungite. It's calming, grounding and helps support + balance your chi/energy flow. It is also slightly conductive - so a perfect enhancer for other powerful stones in my bracelet designs.
