Dear fellow Poshers!
I recently bought a pair of Agolde jeans listed as size 25. I received size 24. I filed a return request trusting that I'll be able to return them as the size was not as described, but I was denied for these reasons:
- Sizing can vary by fit and was not misstated by the seller
- We recommend reaching out to the seller for exact measurements prior to making a purchase
- Fit issues do not qualify for a return
I feel so disappointed and cheated π
Any tips for what I can do?

The seller said it was an honest mistake and was willing to accept my return but there was nothing she could do as it's up to Poshmark to decide the claim's resolution.

That return should have been accepted in your favor if all is as you said. Can you post some screenshots of the listing itself including a picture of where it stated the size and the description as well, and also a picture of the size tag on the jeans you received?

Hi @delle9 ! thank you for your reply β€οΈ That's what I thought too and that is why I was so shocked to see it was denied. The seller also admitted that she made a mistake while posting the size and that she wanted to accept my return but couldn't as it was up to Poshmark to decide on the case. I'm just lost..

@delle9 I added the screenshots of the post, the jeans I received and the comments we exchanged with the seller. I already wrote a message to Poshmark requesting a reassessment of the case, I'm just wondering if there's anything else I can do..

@iwaniaczek I would fight this! That particular Poshmark rep who reviewed your case was 100% wrong. S/he probably didnβt even read the case before denying it. You can appeal it! Send these pictures/screenshots to Poshmark support via email through the app.

@delle9 thank so much for your support. I just received a reply from Poshmark to my message and they sustained their decision saying 'Unfortunately Poshmark does not support returns based on fit related issues if the size is as described by the seller.' I attached the screenshot of the email I got. I lost words... π

Respond again, attach a photo of the size 24 tag, and just state factually, βThe item was described in the listing as a size 25 and I received a size 24. I expect my funds to be returned to me.β Also, reach out to them on Facebook and Twitter. They are quick to respond to call-outs on social media!

Ask them again because poshmark is in the wrong.

Been in a similar place as a buyer & seller! I was looking for size 5 or 5.5 ksny bridal shoes. There was a freak blizzard for likev2 weeks prior to my wedding. I ended up wearing white juicy boots only ever removing them from the box once. I DID make a mistake on the listing. I put 5.5 & they were actually a 5. I'd been looking for both - so I immediately

accepted the return request (even tho it was made at the last second) - I thought Id sold the shoes! Either way I figured oh well, my mistake. When the return arrived the shoes had been worn. Thankfully all smudges, etc were on the soles (not the white silk) & it wasn't bad but I knew! Given I had removed them from the box exactly one time in my bedroom.

so I sent them pics but they wanted ones in natural light. I live in a small rural town & my husband was away on business. I told them what day I would be able to take more pics (I wasn't going to lay white silk on the ground to take pics of the soles without assistance! These shoes were like $350-$400 dollars & were the ONLY thing I splurged on for my tiny 7 guest wedding!

So I was pretty obsessed with the fact they'd been perfect & htf! Also that I wanted at least a decent amount for them & that they'd been devalued! Right? The buyer got them on a Friday & didn't file a return until Sun night! And in the transcript which I took pics of it shows that she took both shoes out of the box for a total photo shoot when the size was printed on the box & it was totally unnecessary! I freaked out at that point & ask that she please

repack them as she received them ASAP she agreed but they weren't even in the dustbag - let alone properly repackaged. Anyway, I went to send the new pics & the case had been CLOSED! Buyer refunded! They said they'd wait the extra day & didn't. They also didn't answer my many emails over the summer of 2019. I STILL feel screwed over!

Your situation was reversed but just the same! The seller made a mistake & you lost. I admitted to my mistake but she'd obviously worn the shoes that weekend & returned them & both the buyer & Poshmark lied to me! Im still pretty furious! I even filed a complaint with the BBB but the response from Posh was like "too bad!" - its BS! Sorry this is so long but obv. Im so not over it yet! TBH, I just started using p a l as often as ppl were ok w/it.

LOL! I try to give them as little of my $$ as possible. The customer service started going waaaaaay downhill in 2018 and has not stopped sliding since. It WAS once worth 20% but now, not so much. Totally feel you! π’ Disappointing!! ππ€¦ββοΈπ’

Did you resolve this? You can escalate in the actual conversation and say the seller just admitted it WAS her mistake and is willing to accept the return. I donβt know how you got denied thatβs insane.
