Hey, I'm Marcus. Just a guy who chased a dream that started with a gift from someone I loved deeply. A little over a year ago, I used an inheritance from my grandmother, the woman who raised me and taught me the value of showing up in life and showing up well, to open my first menswear store. I loved it and poured everything into it: my time, all my money, my heart, and my vision. However, a severe storm hit our city, flooding and causing structural damage. I lost the store. I lost what felt like a piece of myself, but after seeing the back stock I had in storage, I realized I didn’t lose the dream. So today, I’m hopeful and doing what I can to rebuild on Poshmark.
