kathrynsnyder13 @stephng88 Hi! This item doesn't stand since Hello Kitty is in a sitting position but it also doesn't sit very well as it's top heavy. I had initially used Amazon as a reference but after taking it out of the packaging and measuring from the top of the head to the bottom of the feet the plush is actually 13" and I updated the listing to reflect that. Hope this helps!
