Trini Kwan is the first Yellow Ranger in the Power Rangers franchise. She is also known as the Mighty Morphin Yellow Ranger or Yellow Mighty Morphin Ranger. Vietnamese-American actress Thuy Trang portrayed Trini in the original series, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, which premiered in 1993. Trang died in a car accident in 2001 at the age of 27.
