poshinabox @hayleyjmillerne it is a grayish purple. it's really pretty. I have one for myself. it kind of changes colors with different lighting. sometimes it is more purple than other times. it does come with the hood that goes into the front pocket.

poshinabox @hayleyjmillerne I think they made an announcement about it. I think it had to do with the cost of production, I think. they didn't want to increase the cost for the customers. Some people don't use the hood. I have used it when the baby is sleeping and it's bright out. I bought this one in 2021. I think they stopped the hoods last year.

hayleyjmillerne @poshinabox wow this is so fascinating! that makes it hard to choose…buy an older model with a hood or a newer model with narrower straps. i haven’t owned one of these carriers before so i’m trying to be picky about purchasing!

poshinabox @hayleyjmillerne totally understandable. I only have models from 2021 personally so I don't know how the newer models fit. I do find I like the ones that have the dual tightening on the back clip. I have mostly OGs and one onbuhimo. I have liked the onbuhimo for the newborn stage over the wraps. I haven't tried a revolution because I loved the original so much. I love my happy baby carriers.

ajhender @poshinabox thanks! I wish I could see the color better! Would you say it’s like a mauve type purple? Somewhat pinkish? Or a true purple? I saw you said it’s a grey ish purple but I’m wondering if you’d describe it as that mauve type pink purple, if that makes sense lol :) thank you so much!

poshinabox @hayleyjmillerne alright so photo 8 is with the curtains drawn. I have mauve on the left and a grey on the right. It's very unique in that it kind of changes color based on light and what it is next to. I added a photo in direct sunlight also.
