Hand-sewn blue embroidered dress

This was a consignment find and I couldn’t believe how much care and attention had been invested in this pretty item. It appears to be entirely hand-made (but I’m no expert). Sides have some alterations/darts. Two side-slits, and silky-soft fabric, plus an elegant stylized neckline. It features loads of embroidery: dark red, green, mustard-yellow, cream and metallic gold. Main color is a sort of dark corn-flower blue, almost grey. Length from shoulder to bottom hem: 50.5” Shoulder to shoulder seams: 17” Pit to pit: 19”
