nonnie1211 @mabrouka Do you mean will the gold color "come" off, or tarnish like cheap jewelry does? If this is what you are talking about, then I don't think so because I make jewelry and I actually made this bracelet by taking apart an old necklace of my Mother and designing this bracelet from a picture I saw. While I can't guarantee it, because I didn't actually buy the gold chain, it still looks like new. For all I know it could be real gold, but I can't ask my Mother because she passed away 4 years ago. I do know the gold chain is really old though, so if it hasn't tarnished by now, I think it should be ok. I just wouldn't let it set in water, you know what I mean? Just think about it, if you buy you're actually getting a one of a kind piece that is partly vintage and partly new. LOL.
