Handmade Ugandan African Doll in Pink Ankara Dress

This beautiful little Black Girl Doll was handmade in Uganda by Women Artisans. Their handmade designs provide a fair wage and help women build a secure future for their families. She is wearing a Pink Ankara Dress made out of DaViva fabric. Her torso features a contrasting pattern and Yellow colored fabric. Her face is painstakingly Hand Embroidered in the most charming little side glance and smile. Her lovely Black hair is Hand Sewn in and wrapped with Pink Threads. Her sash would have originally held a little baby on her back so she could be a working mother. Sadly, the baby was missing when I acquired her, as were her matching socks.
