Handmade Opal Stone Pendant Sterling Silver Wire Wrapped Necklace 925

Stunning handmade pendant featuring a large polished stone with deep red and greyish pigments, a small man made opal, and sterling silver wire wrapping. This piece does not come with a chain. Despite doing a lot of research and asking geology and gemstone experts, I have not been able to determine what the main stone is. Best guesses are cinnabar in dolomite, Elbaite (pink tourmaline), moss agate, or bloodstone.
