Sweet soft shawl, handmade many years ago but never worn. Pastel yellow, pink, green. No opening except the head to wear over your shoulders on a cool day. I stated it was mohair only because it looks like it. Hard to get a pic of the softness. The accent tie is also handmade of tiny satin ribbon rosebuds with satin green leaves. Approximately 20” long. Opening at top is 17” across the front for a total of 38” but can be brought in carefully with the ribbon. Bottom front is about 36”

undrafting would this work as a skirt?

quoddy1952 @undrafting thank you for your interest and question. I imagine it could but you would probably have to replace the roses ribbon with a smoother tie so you could remove it easier. And then maybe use the ribbon another way on the skirt or elsewhere. It goes right to my knee and I’m 5’2”. It’s actually very pretty as a skirt. Never thought of that!

quoddy1952 I might add that the maximum stretch across the waist portion is 18” side to side. You would have 36” to pull over one’s hips.
