The beads are a delicate pink color and feel cool to the touch. The craftsmanship is very good, with small knots in the thread in between each bead to maintain the beautiful spacing. The bird appears to be hand painted as well with vibrant, rich colors. In the cover photo, I tied a small piece of elastic string to hold it together on top- but the Necklace is a simple loop.
