Handmade Genuine Turquoise Beaded Southwestern Cross Gemstone Stretch Bracelet A few months ago, I made a bracelet like this for myself. I wear it frequently, & I get compliments every time I go out in public with it on my wrist. After the millionth time someone commented on it, I decided to make a few to share with thw world. I don't see beads in this equal arm cross shape very often - especially made from genuine turquoise (usually it is magnesite or howlite dyed blue to mimic turquoise). Full disclosure: both the cross beads & the round beads are, as far as I can tell, genuine turquoise. Stones that are not "gem quality" are usually stabilized, making them harder, easier to carve, & keep their color longer. I believe these to be stabilized Hubei (Chinese) turquoise - which is some of the most beautiful turquoise in the world. This bracelet is 7" & strung on stretch cord for comfort.
