Handmade Crochet Halter Backless Dress

NEW! Hand-crocheted dress made from second hand yarn. The straps of this dress tie in the back so that the fit of the top and the length of the straps can be adjusted. This piece is made from yarn purchased at thrift stores. With this unique way of sourcing my materials, I work to reduce the environmental impact of my pieces as much as possible. I embody the ideals of slow-fashion with my work and hope to bring attention back to handmade crafts. The yarn used for this project was the Caron Jumbo Print Worsted Acrylic Yarn in Country Basket. This yarn is 100% acrylic. Machine wash and dry. Although this garment can be machine dried, I would recommend air drying flat to avoid stretching. Do not bleach.
