Handmade Crochet Halter Backless Dress

NEW! Hand-crocheted dress made from second hand yarn. The straps of this dress tie in the back so that the fit of the top and the length of the straps can be adjusted. This piece is made from yarn collected at estate sales, thrift stores and second-hand craft supply stores as well as leftover yarn from other crochet projects I have made in the past. With this unique way of sourcing my materials, I work to reduce the environmental impact of my pieces as much as possible. I embody the ideals of slow-fashion with my work and hope to bring attention back to handmade crafts. The yarn used for this project was a mix of different fibers but mostly acrylic and acrylic blends and cotton blends. Machine wash, delicate cycle. Do not bleach. Do not dry clean. Do not iron.
