Handcrafted vint large blue silvertone metal & red mahogany medallion necklace

This necklace is a two piece one where the front smaller silvertone & blue metal piece sits in front & center of the back larger red mahogany colored piece. The hard treated wood one is quite a big larger than the metal front piece so that the front piece can loosely move a small distance forward or side to side a little ways off & from the center of the wooden piece if you bend over forward or side to side but anytime you're upright it immediately goes back into place to the center of the red mahogany piece to look like one solid piece again. No matter how much movement you have it'll always find it's main position & they will always be centered to appear like a single piece. This makes this piece a really cool & unique one to have & when I approached my appraiser with this piece she had actually had one herself many yrs ago & had lots of fun with it as it had tricked many a friend when cpls would swear it was only 1 piece & others 2! The colors they picked are just beautiful & the front metal piece is made very well with a good thickness. It is blue & silvertone & quite pretty with its raindrop pattern & great detail & design. As for the rest of the piece there are clear & solid beads up above the pendant on each side. All on a matching brown cord that goes over your head. I'd say this is a boho meets newer age type of necklace. Very unique & good looking piece. From back of neck to bottom of medallian is a 15" drop. Medallion measures 2" x 2". Great condition
