Handcrafted steampunk necklace

I used a process called cold connections to rivet the gears to the copper square. I had to texturize the square, drill holes, rivet the gears to the square, then darken it. Afterward I had to polish it. The chain is handcrafted based on a pattern by Zurich designs. It is made of bare copper wire, darkened then polished. After it was all put together, I sprayed several coats of sealant. The chain measures 22”, the pendant is 2 1/2” long. The closure is hook and eye.
