Each bead was handmade in the Philippines from coconut trees. Assembled by hand. Woven by hand. This is a large statue. It weighs almost 5 pounds and is 19 inches long by 14 inches high by 6 inches wide. It Retailed for $248. The Stock photo from pottery barn shows a gray hippopotamus. However, the beads are more a beige and purple color. This is not dirt or signs of this is how it came in store there damage to the hippo. There is some separation of the iridescent beads on the one tooth you can see in the picture probably can fix that with some superglue if it bothers you. Super clean no dirt no dust no stains.
