Hand painted box lacquered vintage deers in the forest. Could be Japanese, Chinese or other. Wooden box. Shows wear from age and paint chips as shown in pics. Please zoom in. Black lacquer with orange, greens and a dark orange. Inside has paint chipped off also. Even so this is one of the prettiest woodrr we n boxes I have come across. Similar styles sell in the hundreds. This could be touched up from a skilled painter.
